About the appeal

Outpatient treatment of cancers is becoming more and more effective and the trend is set to continue. The Ambulatory Cancer Care Centre that UCL Hospitals wants to build is expected to undertake a wide range of activities including the provision of treatments such as chemotherapy. It will also undertake complementary therapies, support services for patients including the provision of information, as well as advanced research to evaluate new drug therapies. It will be staffed by a multidisciplinary team catering for the full range of cancer patients’ needs.

About UCLH Charitable Foundation

UCL Hospitals Charitable Foundation is the main fundraising charity for key research, building and equipment projects across all University College London Hospitals. The scope of our fundraising reflects the diversity of the hospitals’ specialities. The main focus is currently on cancer. We also support projects in other areas including Sarcoid/CFA, fetal medicine, and complementary and alternative medicine.
